Privacy Policy
How Yadav Enterprises handles information in the OFC Network Manager app and on this website.
Yadav Enterprises ("we", "our", or "us") publishes OFC Network Manager ("the App") and operates ofcnetworkmanager.com ("the Website"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the App, the Website, and support communications with us.
1. The short version
- Your project files stay on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional.
- We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.
- The App does not use advertising trackers or behavioural analytics.
- This Website is a static site. It does not set advertising cookies or run third-party analytics.
- You can use the core App without creating an account.
2. Who we are
Yadav Enterprises is based at 3/225-AB, Thanneer Pandal, Chinnathadagam Main Road, Chinnathadagam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641108, India. For privacy questions, contact support@yarktech.in or call +91 62849 86841. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
3. Information we collect
Account information
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and display name (if the provider shares it). This is used for cloud project sync and licence verification. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.
Project data
Fibre network drawings, cable and closure data, splice records, equipment inventories, notes and images are stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, the project is uploaded to our cloud storage so it can be opened on your other devices. Project content is yours; we do not inspect it except when you choose to send it to us for support.
Licence status
The App checks your purchase status with the store you downloaded from — the Apple App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store — to verify a lifetime unlock entitlement. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The store handles payment, taxes and refunds.
Crash reports and diagnostics
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports. These may include device model, operating system version, app version and stack traces. They are used to diagnose and fix bugs. We do not use them to build an advertising profile.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send. We keep support correspondence long enough to resolve the issue and maintain a record of repeated problems.
Website requests
This Website is served by Firebase Hosting. Like any web host, Firebase may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp for security and delivery. We do not add advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics to this Website. If you click an external link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.
4. How we use information
- Provide the App: store and open projects, run traces, calculate loss and export files.
- Sync across devices: when you enable cloud sync, associate your account with your synced projects.
- Verify purchases: confirm whether the lifetime unlock is active.
- Fix problems: diagnose crashes and respond to support requests.
- Keep the service secure: detect abuse, fraud or unauthorised access.
- Meet legal obligations: comply with applicable law and lawful requests.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the App and sync), legitimate interests (security, support and improving reliability), consent (where you enable optional sync or contact us), and legal obligation where applicable.
5. Project files and cloud sync
A .ofcx project is a ZIP containing plain JSON. On your device it is saved atomically with a .bak backup and a crash-recovery journal. You may password-protect a project with Argon2id and AES-256-GCM encryption. If you enable cloud sync, project data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest on our Firebase storage. Only you can access your own synced projects through your account.
Cloud sync is optional and can be disabled at any time in the App. Disabling sync stops new data from being sent to our servers. It does not automatically delete data already synced; you can delete synced projects in the App or ask us to delete your cloud account and data.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, trade or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, cloud storage and crash reporting. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash diagnostics. See Firebase's privacy information.
- Google Maps map tiles — satellite imagery for the physical view. Standard map tile requests are sent to Google; we do not send your project data with them.
- Apple App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store — purchase processing and licence verification under their respective privacy policies.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public.
7. Retention
- Local projects: kept on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- Cloud projects and account data: kept while your account is active. You can delete synced projects in the App or request account deletion.
- Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
- Support messages: kept for as long as needed to resolve the issue and maintain a reasonable record.
- Hosting logs: retained according to Firebase Hosting's standard retention.
8. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, encryption at rest for cloud storage, and optional Argon2id + AES-256-GCM encryption for project files. Sign-in is handled by Google or Apple using OAuth; we never receive your password. No system is completely secure, so please keep your device, account and project passwords protected and keep independent backups of important projects.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access and export: open your projects in the App and export CSV, image or PDF. The .ofcx file is your project.
- Delete local data: delete a project in the App or uninstall the App.
- Delete cloud data: delete synced projects in the App, or email us to delete your cloud account and associated data.
- Disable sync: turn off cloud sync in the App settings at any time.
- Object or complain: contact us, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or to data portability. Email support@yarktech.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.
10. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International transfers
Our service providers, including Google Firebase, may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. The store you use may also process purchase data under its own terms.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Please review this page periodically.
