Terms of Use | OFC Network Manager

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of OFC Network Manager ("the App"), ofcnetworkmanager.com ("the Website"), and related support communications. The App and Website are provided by Yadav Enterprises ("we", "our", or "us"), 3/225-AB, Thanneer Pandal, Chinnathadagam Main Road, Chinnathadagam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641108, India.

By downloading, installing or using the App, or by using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.

1. The App and the Website

OFC Network Manager is an OFC network cable management and fibre planning tool for FTTH and outside-plant work. It models cables, cores, closures, splice trays, ports, equipment and optical loss. It is not a packet tracer, protocol simulator, or a substitute for an accredited engineering design or site survey.

The Website provides product information, downloads, pricing information and support links. Store listings, platform terms and the terms of your app store also apply to your download and purchase.

2. Licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your internal or professional use. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease or distribute the App except as permitted by the applicable store's terms or by law.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play or the Microsoft Store, that store's terms also apply.

3. Purchases and lifetime unlock

The core App is free. Optional features, including cloud sync, encrypted storage and earlier access to advanced features, are available through a one-time in-app purchase ("Lifetime Unlock"). The live price, taxes and availability are shown by the store in your country.

Purchases are processed by the store, not by us. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Refunds, billing disputes and payment method issues are handled under the store's policies. If a purchase does not appear, use the restore option in the App or contact us with your store and purchase date.

The Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not include a promise that every future feature will be free; new products or separately sold services may be offered separately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the App or Website for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes;
interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the App, Website or our servers;
attempt to access another user's account, projects or synced data;
reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law;
remove or obscure copyright, trademark or proprietary notices;
use automated means to scrape or overload the Website, or resell access to the App.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the project data you create — drawings, cable and splice records, equipment data, notes and images. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data, for keeping backups, and for having the rights needed to use any content you import.

If you enable cloud sync, you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit and display your project data solely to provide sync and related features. We do not use your project content for advertising and do not inspect it except when you ask us to for support or when required by law.

Project files are saved atomically with a .bak backup and a crash-recovery journal, but no storage is infallible. Keep independent backups of important projects.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Website, the OFC Network Manager name and logo, the design system, text, graphics and software are owned by Yadav Enterprises or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

7. Third-party services and links

The App and Website use or link to third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Maps, the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Microsoft Store. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services or content.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the App or Website. We aim to keep project files portable and to give reasonable notice of material changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Store availability and operating system requirements may change.

9. Disclaimer

The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that calculations will be free of input errors, or that a design will meet a particular network's requirements.

Engineering responsibility remains with you. Verify cable counts, splice records, distances and loss calculations against the field and your own engineering standards before building, energising or certifying a network. The App is a planning and record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional judgement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yadav Enterprises will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the App or Website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App or Website will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 5,000 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to cloud services if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if the service is discontinued. On termination, local projects remain on your device; cloud data may be deleted after a reasonable period. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country, the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the App.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you continue to use the App or Website after an update, you accept the revised Terms.
